The British Columbia Aboriginal Network on Disability Society, or as it is more commonly known, BCANDS, is an award winning Indigenous, not-for profit, disability organization operating in Canada since 1991. BCANDS is the only Indigenous organization of its type in Canada and holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations. 

BCANDS provides disability and health related programs and services to individuals and families residing within both First Nation and non-First Nation communities. BCANDS maintains over 6,000 client files through all of it's programs.
